Our Story
As a child I remember being fascinated by the remnants of wax left over from jewellery casting; so intricate and pretty. At that time my uncle was a good ten years into finessing his techniques, and I would spend time during my holidays gazing at all the beautiful things he had made. Being family, it would have been easy for me to take up an apprenticeship at the workshop, but academic life took me on a different journey.

In 2019 I lost my husband to cancer; he was 43. With two young children and various other commitments to juggle, I knew that self-employment would suit me best and with contentment in mind, I considered all those things that I would love to do to earn a living. Accordingly, and with the help of my uncle, 'Preloved Fine Jewellery' was born.
